1 copy of Captcha Breaker on 2 VPS

BrumnickBrumnick
Gentlemen (and ladies)

I am thinking of setting up a new VPS and buying another copy of GSA SER to double up on output as I have tons of triple tiered projects.  I am wondering if you can use GSA CB in webserver mode on 1 VPS and also access it from another VPS?

I am an absolute fool when it comes to networking so if there is absolutely no chance than feel free to tell me so.

However, I am a fool that can follow instruction so if anyone knows how then please enlighten me!

Thanks guys!

    you can't.

one license can use on only one server.

    That is fair enough.

    From memory it can

Im sure there was mention of it on here before

I could well be wrong though :D

But if your only running it on one server, its only being run in one place

Ozz would no doubt be the brains for the technical stuff

yeah, its working as webserver but i don't think its recommended (at least by Sven ;) ). the reason is that the workload doubles, the webserver might give some trouble instead of direct a connection and the detection rate of captchas could decrease as the captchas aren't send directly to CB.

however, i never tested that and you should just try it out. there was at least one thread discussing that in depth IIRC.

Thanks guys, just trying to price up overall cost of another setup.

Think I will get set up, try to get CB to work with the two, if not fall back to CS (aaarrrgh) for a month and then get another copy of CB...

Will have a further dig for that thread you mentioned Ozz.

    Cheers
    :D

edit; If anyone else is looking to do this here is a couple of threads explaining...

if you are lucky enough than CS will be updated since then. it would be a sad thing if it hasn't improved so it may be a good backup solution for you if the webserver solution has some performance issues for example.
according to mikey we will get the "the fastest -and- most accurate overall - desktop captcha solving software - that exists in the public". however, he told us that we get weekly updates since January as well.... ;)

i'm sure you find some good hints in some of those threads:

Yep, hopefully it has.  Always good to have a backup plan!
