Yes it's the .ini files but the thing is, even if you hire an experienced coder, he might be able to do some things, but I doubt he'll be able to tweak and fix everything in the scripts without some more in depth documentation.
When the platform trainer is out it would be a lot easier to get someone to fix/tweak things. I'm sure even users on the forum will be doing this.
I'm just saying I doubt you will be able to give a coder the .ini file and the .pdf documentation that's available now and say, "ok, fix this". He would probably have to consult with Sven on the more advanced stuff in the script engine, but I doubt Sven has time to be teaching it right now.
Keep in mind I'm a script noobie so I might not have any idea what I'm talking about. :P
I see this thread is already dead! , too bad. I thought that we finally can get GSA SER to be a tier 1 link builder software so we can point it directly to our moneysite and get some high quality links.
I guess we will have to wait to platform trainer then maybe things will be better.
Also up for getting one of my coders in the office to work on platforms full time but I agree with @s4nt0s , the coder will require some back and forth with @Sven (who may not have time) because there are some tricky platforms out there and the documentation needs work.
@mamadou I don't think that hiring a freelancer is a good idea as there will be a number of people on subscriptions and if the remote freelancer drops off the planet and leaves the person taking the subscription $$ scrambling to find and train a new freelancer it could create a downtime of weeks just to get new engine updates..
I have an in-house programmer working on the web2.0 engines (fixes and new ones).
Initially we are just picking random ones that already exist in GSA SER and tweak/fixing them so they work again. This will give us a good understanding of the scripting engine in GSA SER and also an indication of the time it takes to maintain them.
@Sven has agreed to assist us in any scripting related questions (thanks!).
Do you pay someone to manually submit to those lists? I know of no software which can actually submit to that list and get a high percentage.... what am I missing?
I purchased a template package for Zenno, which costs me $12/month and works fine. I can get 40+ blogs created and populated with articles in 10 minutes. It's called ZenBlog.
I've created zenno templates myself in the past and let me tell you something. It's a pain in the arse to update so many templates. I'd rather pay other guys to do it.
I subscribed to your site , if you can do this with a reasonable fee, I will be the first one to buy it and abandon MS and it's expensive monthly fees for good!. But I think you should increase the engines to 50 sites or something since no software on the market will EVER deliver better than 80 % success rate. Also you need to ignore sites that depend a lot on JavaScript since you will suffer from massive fails using a 100% socket software like SER. These sites need a browser based submitter as far as I know. (browser based submitters sucks btw , that's why I love SER ) But this is not a problem since you have plenty of quality sites with no extensive JavaScript.
there are a services/tools which handle 50+ working web2.0 sites. working pretty good with regular updates. no sleeper, i think the software is popular. magicsubmitter +1
i think the real stopper is that most of major web2.0 use recaptcha and besides xrumer there is no captcherbreaker software for this. in conclusion i think web2.0 on a semi-automated base like magicsubmitter is no problem. if it comes to set-and-forget solutions like GSA SER, we need a recaptchabreaking "Captcha Breaker" to really get this thing going. But we wait what the time brings to us with new GSA releases ;Þ.
@mamadou Thanks for the tips.. The reason we want to go with only 25-30 is I want to monitor how much maintenance time and staff are needed to keep them going well.. Start small and grow without promising something we can't deliver.
