LPM: What Affects it and how to optimize it?

My GSA has been running quite slow so I just wanted to know what really affects LPM and by how much. How much do proxies, restrictions (PR, outbound links, specific platforms etc..), Threads ,etc influence LPM.
I'm running 10 private proxies, VPS with hoststage 1st level, restrictions are not insane 100 OBL max, PR 1+, Some projects are just pure Youtube spam so there are no restrictions and there is barely a difference. Have loaded in a couple thousand keywords into the system (6-8k). only around 5-8 active projects running.
What does anyone recommend for my settings. How many threads should I be running, HTML timeout.
Is an LPM of .98 good for my current setup or is that garbage? How can I increase my LPM? Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Look at the date of the thread. This was opened before the other.
Also doing a quick google search of "possible firewall or proxy issue" led me here: https://forum.gsa-online.de/discussion/4280/possible-firewall-or-proxy-issue-message
