New OnPage SEO Function - Need Feedback

edited May 2020 in GSA Keyword Research
The latest updates of GSA Keyword Research have been all for a new module that offer a functionality that other tools would give you for 200USD per month. Though I am in need of some feedback here. Right now @s4nt0s (as always, thanks a lot!) was the only one giving his thoughts to this and Im happy he did. Without him, I wouldn't have thought coding this.

Below is the screenshot of this new module:

You can reach it by:
1. double click on a keyword to open the "Keyword Competition" Screen
2. Click again on Compare //Later updates will probably include both tables in one//

Now what you have here is a table with you site, the top results from the search engine and the Average (change compare algorithm at top) of top3/5/10.
The icons and colors indicate how you should change the row value on your page compared to the top3/5/10 to reach a better ranking.

Please let me know what other values are important for you (disable the option "Hide unused Items" at the top to see all available data). Im currently in search for all possible meta/link tag values there are (even if not important for SEO).

When do you think? @Sven @s4nt0s

More Ngram information (patent from Google...) : Using Ngram Phrase Models to Generate Site Quality Scores

So the first sites for a query contain the best ngrams for Google, if you add that i buy cash  ;)
It is neither more nor less than the recipe for the success of a site compared to its competitors. I imagine that he could work with SER to add ngrams in our articles (in accordance with its title) in order to make it excellent, to allow the creation of semantic thiers of madness (T1 < T2 < T3) ....

Maybe page speed and w3c validator ?

Broken links. If urls are generated (dinamic). Redirection, htacces/other. Internal mesh, how many internal links the page receives and the number of outgoing links. Response time.
  • SvenSven www.GSA-Online.de
good idea...that broken links check is something that should be added.

How many times the keyword is present in the page and its percentage via all the text (keyword density)
  • s4nt0ss4nt0s Houston, Texas
@Kaine - Ah, I don't know how I forgot to mention keyword density to Sven. Its so basic, but I totally forgot :)

@Sven - Taken from the web. "The formula to calculate your keyword density on a web page for SEO purposes is ( X / Y ) ∗ 100, where X is how many times you repeated a specific keyword and Y is the total words in the analyzed text."

    E.g.
    Content length is 500 Words
    Keyword is present 10 times
    KW Density = 2%

I'm really excited about this tool. The amount of data you can see when analyzing your website vs your competitors is insane.

Hopefully some of you try it out and offer some good suggestions.

    That too https://validator.w3.org/
    This forum page : https://validator.w3.org/nu/?doc=https%3A%2F%2Fforum.gsa-online.de%2Fdiscussion%2F27390%2Fnew-onpage-seo-function-need-feedback%2Fp1
    TheBestIndexer (^^) : https://validator.w3.org/nu/?doc=https%3A%2F%2Fthebestindexer.com%2F

I think that with an example we realize better, the W3C symbolizes the standard concerning the code of web pages. Just by correcting this you would gain positions on Google SERP, and this is exactly what you are looking for with a keyword researcher, improve your website positions.
In your opinion, for two pages with equivalent content, one full of errors and the other respecting to the letter the instructions of the W3C (not to mention the speed test insights) which will be the first?

I have not seen it but it seems to me that it would be interesting to know if the page has comments and how much ;^) By omitting the words that this brings, it is also a sign that the page has a social character sufficiently developed to push Internet users to come and share.
  • SvenSven www.GSA-Online.de
next update validates all sites and shows errors/warnings ...

  • KaineKaine thebestindexer.com
    edited March 2020
Don't bother to include all errors, just the number is enough i think (5 w3c errors or 2 warnings/3errors) and if you click on, go on the w3c page.
It is to get a general idea, and that too is a option that adds value.

    A duplicate content test? (percentage).
    For exemple:
    http://www.siteliner.com (full website)
    https://www.duplichecker.com/ (copy/paste article)
    https://smallseotools.com/plagiarism-checker/ (copy/paste article)

For the keyword density, i see websites with 0% that strange. That only in article ? h1/h2/h3 .... title, pictures name ect ... is inclued ? want says in all the html code, url everywhere.
  • SvenSven www.GSA-Online.de
then its probably a keyword with two or more words?
  • KaineKaine thebestindexer.com
    edited March 2020
    Yes it's 2 words ...

What do you think of bringing the word count closer to the density for more readability ?

In speed the response latency (server side)...

I don't know if the classe ip may interest you ?
  • SvenSven www.GSA-Online.de
The order, names and sorting is something I have to work on...it's in ranking.ini

feel free to change the order/names on what you want.
I have to come up myself with something useful. Right now Im only adding new stuff till Im satisfied with the amount...then sorting comes next ;)
  • KaineKaine thebestindexer.com
    Yes it's a good strategy I think :)
I just sent you a message about the ngrams ^^
  • SvenSven www.GSA-Online.de
    will study it next week.

    That looks interesting.

Although where the real gains are made is with TF/IDF resp. NLP keyword suggestions. While some parameters like avg # of words is helpful, most parameters don't matter. If you have some h2 more and some h3 less than the competitor doesn't mean shit.

Here's a recent post about SurferSEO and how it works and suggests keywords based on TF/IDF and Google NLP and here's some code on how to run URLs/content against Google's NLP API. For meaningful results the boilerplate content should be removed prior analysis, e.g. with https://github.com/buriy/python-readability

I'd consider buying GSA Keyword Research if this was going to be implemented. Any plans for this?

That Ngram : "The Surfer Content Editor analyzes your content structure, keyword usage/density, phrasing, and more, comparing them to high-ranking results for the same keywords. Then, it provides you with guidelines on how to build content that has the right structure and wording to show up on page 1."

For example, if for a keyword compared, we find in the best sites, a group of identical words containing it, it is absolutely necessary to include that in our site. This group of words is strongly linked to the context of the keyword.
This group is part of the proper semantic search for this term and Google claims it.

I think it should even be done with the variation of the keyword (find the associated groups).

The research must be on all the content of all the best sites, for example from 2 words> 10-15 words.

A common table (sum of all sites, the keyword is one of the words) :

    95%: word word word
    92%: word word word word
    89%: word word
    ....

    The recipe for success :)

PS : Personally I already bought it because if this function happens, Sven should increase the price of the software because it will take a lot of value.
Just imagine that connected directly with SER or GSA Content Generator ...
Each title, each anchor, each article thought in this way, just insane! And I can guarantee that the indexing will be super fast too.

Latest update has nGram data added (at least the way I understood it).

Can you elaborate on this and maybe provide a screenshot?

What are the limitations of the free trial?
  • SvenSven www.GSA-Online.de
@komakino the trial is time limited and you can not save the results.

nGrams are basically keywords you need to use on your site to rank better. For that purpose, the tool analyses the top results of a query and shows you the keywords/phrases that are used on the results and shows you details for it.
