    You got it.
  • Cool. Thanks for your help.

    Is it risky to only put 1 anchor "weight loss" and then backlinking to the website with "weight loss" 100s of times?

    Obviously aiming to make the website come to top when people search for weight loss...
  • @ron I think you were talking about Gsplit. I use it all the time and it's a great tool.

    To the one who asked the question, once you download Gsplit, in Type and Size tab on left, make your options like this - http://prntscr.com/2rgxpa

    250 = # of lines to keep in each file.

    Once you split keywords, just use this guide to make a spintax quick and fast - https://forum.gsa-online.de/discussion/comment/31750/#Comment_31750 (Yes, I have that post bookmarked since long and I use it as reference every once in a while when I need too...you see, I asked the same when I was new hehe).

    Hope that helps.
  • @qutepie yes its generally understood as 'risky' and a sure way to get banned, tho i dont know anyone who has done tests on this so it could just be false and everyone is just following the crowd. i know i have been and am currently testing myself :). What I would say is find the 'general rules' ppl say on the net, try them, analyse your results. If you get unsatisfactory rankings test each theory one by one changing parameters till you see improvements. Just know that a large amount of the 'common truths' of SEO are total bullshit probably leaked down from misinformation by Matt Cutts himself! :D

    @peterparker - My approach is similar to yours, test, test and test some more and build your strategy based on your results... Not what you read online.

    The easyer way to convert a list of keywords (or words in generally) is using Scrapebox. Also The Best Spinner and similar tools can do it, but Scrapebox is faster and easy.

    Scrapebox > Tools > Scrapebox Text Editor >

    Paste your list of keywords, one per line (not comma separated)

    Modifier > Convert to Spintax > ... (wait 0,01 seconds....)  -> Done! :-)

    @SpecialOne
    590 exact search can be well profitable. I prefer to work with low monthly search, and often in the small niches the CTR are much bigger than the more common 3% of the big niches (I got around 15-20% for some niches). And remember also that if the primary keyword is 590 as you wrote, there are also a bunch of other Long tail keywords around so in total from 590 you can easily get 1.500 or more. Of course, for smaller niches you have to chose the ones with higher cpc, if you use adsense

    If you use TextMate, you can create a simple "bundle" (macro) to create spintax as well.

    @gooner I would be happy to rank hundreds of sites for you! I offer it as a service to my clients, send me a PM if you're serious.
  • ronron SERLists.com
    @peterperseo - That was awesome. Had SB for 2 years as well and never saw that.

    I use getspintax.com all the time. It's perfect. The only time I need other tools is for dividing large lists and putting them in spintax, so basically just the keyword file.
  • @peterperseo Thx for the SB tip! It will become handy in the future! SB is swiss army knife for these kind of things.

    @ron With %spinfile% macro you don't need bothering with spintax anymore ;) Just make sure that keywords are palced each on new line in txt files
  • Do you guys only use the root domain in the GSA SERP domain list? Or can you use different pages of domain for example: www.domain.com/weight-loss, www.domain.com/fast-diet etc?
  • I had SB too for more than two years and never knew about that! Although I am not an avid user, I could still have used that in past and saved some some hassle. @peterperseo Thanks!
  • Hi Everyone ...read this thread & find it very useful...for a newbie like me...just neef to know one thing that does this method is still useful...in ranking up the keywords... @europa
  • I am not sure that this thing is still working , but I am pretty sure that this tier 1 , tier 2 .... thing is definitely going to work and we can do it manually to get better too , we can use a good article spinner to get the unique content but we can build the links manually , especially Tier 1 links.
  • @tk-hassan you even make me more confused abt it...do you any kind of strategy to rank ur keywords..if yes then pls share it
    :)
