@2take2 - It works fine for me, i've never had anything deleted.
Article Builder can produce 60 - 100% unique content, depending what options you choose and it's pretty readable most of the time, but i do a manual review/edit before i post it on web 2.0's and usually correct the odd grammar mistake.
I think the problem is more that people set up a web 2.0 and add just one article or add multiple articles all linking to the same url. which looks spammy.
I try and be more random, multiple articles, some with 0/1/2 links, some with links to authority sites etc.
Also, i always post a couple of articles and leave them a week or two before going back and adding new articles/links.
So far so good, i've been using that content for 6+ months now and it's been fine for me.
Yes, I agree, always best to 'double hit' your manual web 2s, although I normally just hit them with a short spun "welcome/about me" post, maybe 300+/- words long with an image, and then come back a week or so later with a (spun) article, with contextual links, images, embedded video etc, as you described.
