Oh by the way, I will work on the other scripts next week, just that I don't have time now so I just added the one that is working out of the box ;)

I have some other Web20's already "pre-scripted". Once you have added some Web 20's I will upload them. But I fear most of them need some correction first.

My next bigger project is social network "socialgo". I think that this is a great addition to elgg, oxwall and dolphin.

Profile will be nofollow, blog dofollow with anchors :)

nice :) that drupal blog seems to be also interesting. I got that on my to-do list next.

I also investigated this, but it is hard to define any good footprints for me. And every forum post or PM I've seen so far had only the same 3 blog urls.

This is what I got so far and maybe a starting point:
    Footprints: inurl:"/user/register" inurl:"/blog/" drupal
"Spaces are allowed; punctuation is not allowed except for periods, hyphens, and underscores."
"A valid e-mail address. All e-mails from the system will be sent to this address. The e-mail address is not made public and will only be used if you wish to receive a new password or wish to receive certain news or notifications by e-mail."

    Profile:
    -dofollow without anchor
    -"about me" without html/bbs (??)

    Blog:
    -dofollow with anchor
  • I have a nice scraped list of drupal blogs which people are posting too with some other app at present.
Shoot me a PM if you want me to send it over.
  • SvenSven www.GSA-Online.de
All to-do-scripts done now for next version. Thanks again Ozz, almost no corrections (for the friendsite.com-captcha on registration I had to change something in the code to make it work).
  • glad they worked out so well :)

2 questions as I reviewed the scripts.

    friendsite.com: line 150 submit success=">login</strong>|>Logout<
    <-- missing "%" (%login%)?? just a guess.

    stumbleupon.com: line 130 verify by=txturl
<-- i just want to know when its best to use "txturl". this will be used whenever the URL is deformed like this at stumbleupon: "stumbleupon.com/su/1fXRD2/www.test.com/"?
  • SvenSven www.GSA-Online.de

    %login% is fixed (next version)

I used that txturl there as no real link is found on the result page but the link itself has the url as caption. So the program sees that link as verified if it just finds the url in the visible text. Can maybe be scripted in a better way but should work as a temp solution for now.

    My daily engine ;)

    [MyLinkVault.com] - Social Bookmark

Its not working, but I think that it is easy to fix. The problem is that once "Add Link" is clicked it opens the page of the submitted link. I don't know how to "verify/submit success" in this case.

Apart from that it should working with instant registration, dofollow, anchor text and short description text. I left the category as "%leave%" because the standard value is the best.
  • This is a very nice list with descriptions of Web 2.0's which are supported by "AddThis".

I've added the link to the original post.
  • SvenSven www.GSA-Online.de
Oh more work ;) Thanks for sharing
  • SvenSven www.GSA-Online.de
MyLinkVault.com sems to be down for me. Have to skip this until its back
  • Ok, they must have known that we are joining the party and closed the doors.
  • [SocialGo] - Social Network *Not Working*

    - Profile and blog posts are nofollow :(
    - All sites take the same registration- and login-step (I've seen so far)

I "finished" the script a few days ago and already don't know exactly what was wrong ^^
I hate to debug and so it happens that I do some test runs and corrections and finish it with moving it aside to debug later, lol. Sorry for that.

The main problem with this engine is that not all sites supports blog posting.
Example with blog: http://www.prinsesjesopdeerwt.nl (registration is in english)
Example without blog (post just to Profile): http://interactive-bear.com

"content_add[target]=" in [Extra_Step1] needs to be defined for that.

[Jigsy] - Web 2.0 Blog, PR6, DoFollow with anchor text

I forget to enable log in the beginning, but registration should work fine. But I'm not sure, if "theme_id=%random_option%" in registration works as it should

Problem here is [Registration_Step2]. You get an email right after RegStep1 and if you click this the 2nd step with username, age, etc. begins. I tried to extract that link in the email and use it in RegStep2 but nothing happens.

nice :) that MyLinkVault.com is ready, but I didn't find time to check out some more.

I was working ont hat drupal -blog engine today...looks really good now but it's hard to find any good sites that actually allow blog/story/forum posting.

  • drupal is huge, but as you said, hard to find good footprints/targets.

Regarding to my scripts: Take your time. I just want to get rid of them and I don't know anymore what to edit :)

[albawaba.com] Web 2.0 Blog, PR6, DoFollow with anchors.

Registration is logged as successful, but i doubt that, because of RegStep3 (choose theme). Either that is the problem or the email can't be varified.

    Sorry, can't tell much about that because I get a "no form at all" error. When I open the url it shows me a blank site with: {"redirect":false,"errors":[],"signup_success":false}
I suppose its because of anti-spam protection, but you know best :)

On BHW, someone mentions Web 2.0's like Posterous and xFire where you can create multiple posts to the same blogs using spun articles, e.g.
    myblog.posterous.com/my-post-1
    myblog.posterous.com/my-post-2
    etc.

I've looked at the tooltips in the Project Data, and it mentions: "Creates a blog entry" for some of the Web 2.0's.
    1. Does it do multiple posts for all the multi-post blogs like: insanejournal, wordpress.com, xanga.com, etc.?
    2. When does it make these posts and how is this scheduled?

I think to do multiple blog posting to the same Web 2.0 you can select the Project Options:
    > Pause project after X submissions (to limit the number of posts - but this is for all links and not specific to Web 2.0's)
    > Uncheck > Avoid posting to the same domain twice.

But there doesn't seem to be a way of scheduling or limiting the number of posts per specific Web 2.0 or selectin a different spun article for each blog post.

It would be very useful and add value to GSA SER if the workflow could go something like:

    1. User creates 3 spun articles.
    2. Day 1: GSA SER registers at selected Web 2.0 sites, for example: wordpress.com and create a sub-domain, e.g. happy.wordpress.com
GSA SER confirms registration by verifying Web 2.0 registration emails.
    3. Day 2: Login to the Web 2.0's in 2), for example: happy.wordpress.com. Make a blog post: example url:  happy.wordpress.com/how-to-be-happy. Post spun article 1.
    4. Day 4: Login to the Web 2.0's in 2), for example: happy.wordpress.com. Make a blog post: example url:  happy.wordpress.com/happy-is-the-new-cool. Post spun article 2.
    5. Day 6: Login to the Web 2.0's in 2), for example: happy.wordpress.com. Make a blog post: example url:  happy.wordpress.com/happy-to-be-here. Post spun article 3.
    X. And so on...

    Note
    i) The dates in steps 3-5 are completely arbitrary, so could be any pre-defined date in the future after Web 2.0 registration.
ii) Instead of some kind of scheduling using dates as in i), you could do it another way, for example, for each Web 2.0 you could have :
      - Registration Engine - Registers on a Web 2.0 and verifies account. Saves account info.
      - Poster Engine - Loads Web 2.0 registration account info. Makes a new blog post. Can be run multiple times to create new blog posts on the same Web 2.0 property.
       - or combine the Registration & Poster.

The reason for this request is :

    a) One post Web 2.0s stick out like a sore thumb and have a greater chance of being deleted (especially on moderated sites like wordpress.com), so the stick rate decreases. So, the request is for any currently coded or future Web 2.0's to have the ability to post multiple times into the same blog. This would add great value to GSA SER.

    b) Web 2.0 submission software already exists and making multiple blog posts is a standard feature.

    c) Better to go for quality instead of quantity. Focus on high PR DoFollow Web 2.0's that allow multi posting. The registration URL's/process of many Web 2.0s are continually changing. If you focus on maintaining less Web 2.0s that can successfully register and post then it's less work for developers and will have a better success rate for users.
