Some helpful stuff here. Don't get too attached to your domains, you can easily clone them in a day or less and start over.
I am conducting an experiment with 2 new domains at the moment. I've bought press releases and these have been picked up by large sites like Yahoo Finance and a few others , so far this isn't ranking at all for any of my KWs though.
At the same time I've launched a new domain with SER spam blast, this is ranking better. It's on a weird .io domain as well. Time will tell which approach is better.
For the 1000 spam links initially for new websites, do you aim all url at homepage?
What if I want to rank for homepage.com/moneykeyword page?
And the later 30 submitted per day tier 1, etc you mentioned, do you juggle between homepage and inner ranking page?

This is a VERY OLD thread and a lot has changed in SEO this year so I would try to look for things more recent. Also, I would NOT spam a new domain with 1k spam links as it will likely do more harm than good. Back in Jan, spam worked, now not so much.

I had results with local keyword scraped lists . They are small , but do the job along with web2.0's . @Flembot

@liwern - Yea @Flembot is correct, be careful with spamming a new domain with a lot of links - Likely it won't help.
I'm still experimenting to find the best methods with the latest updates. But i tend to start more slowly for the first month these days/
Lately I started building a lot of backlinks to my fresh domain using the C&B guides from serlist, but I didn't know about starting slow. Anyway, it's Churn and Burn, I don't care if get penalised, I'm only afraid about this 30 days sandbox that some people are talking about...

@luckskywalker - Yea C&B is different, if that's your strategy then of course you want to hit it hard right out the gate.
I used to send spam links to the homepage from day one, and it used to work. Not sure it does now. Instead I send 50-100 high PR PBN links to the homepage. This works
I just finished reading this thread and I saw you mentioned a few times you build 120 web 2.0. Are all on different platforms, or like 10-20 platforms and you build 10 web 2.0 on each? Because I doubt there are 120 web 2.0 platforms that are really high PR and really worth it.
