that are all error messages either by the server or from tcp/ip stack.

timeout for emails is same as in setting for submissions.

connection reset by peer means the connect was aborted by the program or from outside (firewall, isp, anti virus).

Thanks @sven, i'll increase timeout and see if it helps.
  • mega ocr is working, support is alive and very good  , but solving rate went down from 65 to 40 % .
  • @Sven there is some mystery going on with all these emails errors. So again I have a bunch of errors about emails failing. An example:

2014-01-17 17:28: E-Mail login error for lemussvv@hotmail.com: -ERR authentication failed [first appeared at 2014-01-17 09:22]
2014-01-17 17:28: E-Mail login error for ednaddkg@hotmail.com?pop3.live.com?995?ednaddkg@hotmail.com?i0KQ??2"z.??!h?$?1: -ERR unrecognized command [first appeared at 2014-01-17 09:22]

The issue here is that I suddenly see a second email added to that project, God knows from where :-/ And it looks like this in "Your E-mail" field:
    ednaddkg@hotmail.com?pop3.live.com?995?ednaddkg@hotmail.com?i0KQ??2"z.??!h?$?1 (screenshot below)

Now, the fun part is that the Password of the email I entered was changed for some reason. I believe that's why I have all this email login failures. I keep changing emails and they keep failing. Idk how this can happen cause all mu projects are set up the same way and only some have this issue at this moment.

I tried both outlook and hotmail and all the same. All those hotmail accounts I have were created with this kinda password format: "a123bc45". No capital letters or signs. But in the example above, the pass was changed to  "]CrCYXxV" @-) And this happens with every single project that has that red icon :((

have you edited the project with external tools or in another way than double clicking on it?
  • My project creation usually looks like this:
    1. I have a template of .prj and .articles files on my PC
    2. I bulk edit the files with new values using FAR or FNR
    3. Copy/paste all files into the projects folder on VPS
    4. Restart SER
    5. Go into each of those project in SER to add emails and modify some little stuff
    6. Done
    7. Sometimes I bulk edit files on VPS without closing SER itself first (maybe that's where I messed up?)

OK so this might be the problem. The email data e.g. is saved with FFh used as seperator. Some programs might save the data differently (wrong encoded). Also the passwords itself are using almost any possible character. So be careful with that not getting changed as well.
  • Thanks @Sven :) Will not bulk edit with SER open anymore :)
