@mitch - Unlikely 1 VPS not matter how good could handle that type of volume, you won't get as many links to each of your tiers as you would like.
  • @gooner that's what I'm finding and what prompted this thread.
    @solidseovps Understand.

Definitely time to expand into a 2nd VPS. I'll be checking you out @solidseovps

    Thanks again for everyone's input.
  • @Tim89 can you tell me please what kind of pc you have buyed??? Thanks!

@dimcik This is the machine I'm currently using specs are below, I have another machine which was built in July this year, but this is my newer build which I've switched to, I use my other machine I built as a "dedicated home server" which is also an i7 intel chip/16gb ram for running SEO tools.

Then I have a "frankenstein build" which is basically left over parts I've accumilated over a year or so which I will be setting up in the new year for link building hopefully.

But if bought all toghether the price is higher...Can it be possibile to put everything toghether? I can do this? Or is for experience users only?

@dimicik I recommend everyone to try and build their own machines, you get much better value for your money, it's not that hard to put it together to be honest, there are a lot of video tutorials on youtube for putting together computers, it's not difficult, I bought all my parts from amazon, they are good if one part is faulty or DOA they ship out another and they deal with the RMA on their side.

You should try to build it, as long as you don't damage any of the chips and make sure you build it on an anti-static surface (no carpet!!) nothing should break, these components are normally very sturdy unless ofcourse you drop a piece on the floor and stamp on it with a pair of high heels or you decide to give a component a swimming lesson and drop it in a bucket of water, you should be fine.

all you need is a screw driver.

Damn, that's a lot of money for less links than i get with my VPS :O
  • Well so many links is a dream for me :)) But what you have with only 100 private proxies is nice...But at the end the most important thing is to have websites ranking, and receive a lot of traffic.

@gooner this machine can run at 800 - 1000 threads with ease which means 1 install can achieve around 200,000 to 250,000 contextual verified links per day, considering in the screenshot SER was only running at 400 threads for the day.

I can run over 500 projects at a time.

I don't mean to blow my own trumpet here but my PC is 50x better than any rental vps lol.

I could split this machine up 32 times and sell vps accounts with 1gig of ram plans.

unless im misunderstanding something...its not just about the hardware, at least for me, its about running it on a bulletproof connection vs your home isp

@tim89 - At 250k contextuals per day it's starting to make more sense :)

@googlechemist this is what makes me giggle about GSA ser users and this illusion that it is connection orientated at how fast it can run!

SER doesn't need more than 25mb of connection in most cases.. Open up your task manager with ser running and check your network usage.

Having a meaty machine allows you to use more threads, open more browsers, make more submissions simultaneously, multitask easier which SER is good at...

This equals more LPM which means more verified links per day, so to put it simply, yes a good machine is what increases your link building if you already at least have a 25 - 50mb connection.

@gooner you didn't think I was boasting about building 100k forum profile/blog comment links and have the cheek to post a screenshot did you? Lol I'd probably be able to get over a million blog comments out a day.

I only build contextual links nowadays.
