How to properly check proxies?
I've been told that SER can give off false signals regarding your proxies' health and that it's recommended to use 3rd party tools to regularly check your proxies.
Unfortunately I don't own Scrapebox, or any other SEO tool that allows me to do so. I've checked out the stand alone proxy checker recommended by @DavidA2 in this thread https://forum.gsa-online.de/discussion/3204/my-compiled-list-of-tips-notes-threads-resources-for-using-ser/p1
but couldn't really get it to work. All of my proxies appear to be dead using this tool.
Can you guys recommend a proper way to check my proxies?

I gave the stand alone checker by DavidA2 another try and tweaked the settings a little bit. Apparently there was a problem with them. I downloaded the proxy judge list provided by @Ozz ( http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=PZ3msXYb ) and everything worked great.
