First URL List

Hi I was wondering if someone could give me some direction in scraping my first URL list for the 1st tier. I have been trying to harvest a list with scrapebox but I seem to only get very few URLs for the keyword list and footprints I am using. My keyword is "online marketing" and I am using the footprints taken from GSA Search Engine ranker. I think I am doing something wrong because I get such a small list using this data. Can someone help me to get going in the right direction. I have looked at three different tutorials on it and I still come up with these tiny lists. Can you help? ;-)

  • do you have proxies loaded and enabled? Which version of SB are you using?

Flesh out your footprints, drastically. SER has decent enough "Starter" footprints - but you should go into footprint studio and build as many additional footprints as you can.

You should also expand your keywords - going after JUST online marketing is going to limit you further. Why not internet marketing, marketing online, etc..

Also, your not going to find very many niche-relevant targets in the first place - Online Marketing is a "Spammy" vertical, and most blogs/sites related to it, running the relevant platforms, are going to have manual approval enabled.

    Pretty much what @1linklist said.

Use this to flesh out your footprints, the free version is all you need to start - http://fpfactory.com/.

Heres 100,000 keywords - http://www.mediafire.com/file/4cd4aav00wn04gs/top100ksearchedkeywords.txt bookmarked the link a while back, cant remember who shared it but credit to them.

  • Thanks for sharing the link @shaun

It's worth going through some of the hacking forums as well. They use dictionary and word lists for brute force password cracking and you can often pick up some very interesting lists that you can use.

Also you should identify if your getting issues with scrapebox.  Because if your proxies are blocked and half your footprints are failing because of that or something else, then you can get all the keywords and footrpints in the world and its not going to get you anywhere.

With out a lot more detail its really hard to dial in what all your issues might be, but its probably safe to assume you could stand to optimize more then 1 step of your process.
