What tier building strategy do you use?

Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to get an idea of what tiered link building strategy you guys are using in 2016.

What platforms do you use for each tier?
Please mention when you guys use do-follows & no-follows.
Also provide insight on your ratios for your tiers such as 100 tier 1's -> 10000 tier 2's and etc.
Are all your built links primarily contextual?
Targeted OBL count for each tier?

Thanks,

Jackeryan

T1 - Wordpress, Buddypress, Drupal, Xpressengine
T2 - Contextual Article, Social Network, Video, Wiki (sometimes dont use wiki)
T3 - Blog Comments, Image comments, guestbooks and trackbacks.

I only use do follow links, for each T1 I try get 300-500 T2 that have stuck and then 25-50 non contextuals per day to them, dont care about OBLs.

Thats a structure im using right now and doing ok with, got a few new test projects up that seem to be wrecking it but not sure if they will hold or fall but im not willing to share much else about them just yet ;).
  • Thanks for the response bro!

That's a hell of a lot of links to each t1 lol but ill try it out!

PS: Let me know the secret sauce method your talking about works for you in the long run ;) ill make it worth your while!

Yea it looks like it but currenlty I am building my T2 out over a week or two. If you only have a small contextual list then try aim for around 150 links to each T1 and track your movements.
  • Sounds good, Is the methods you mentioned above safe for a money site? This is not a churn and burn project.
  • shaunshaun https://www.youtube.com/ShaunMarrs
I dont do churn and burn.
  • Thanks for the info @shaun. You've been a great help on this forum & on BHW.
  • @shaun how many tier 1 links are hitting your properties in total and how many in a day?
  • @shaun also do you filter out any sites based on language?
  • shaunshaun https://www.youtube.com/ShaunMarrs
@bencrabara  I do different things for different projects.

I have done 5/10/15/25/50 a day and an initial blast of everything I could from the selected platforms at once.

    Shaun

Have you found any of the contextual's in the social network to have any value as T1?

    Thanks
  • shaunshaun https://www.youtube.com/ShaunMarrs
PHPFox is pretty stong just mostly no follow. I havent dont much testing with the social network platforms though in all honesty.
  • @shaun do you limit the amount of total backlinks you build for tier 2/3 contextual or not? Or do you continue building them as long as you don't have that much projects that you're building links with GSA yet?
  • shaunshaun https://www.youtube.com/ShaunMarrs
Depends on server workload and ranks.

My T1 Campaign Contextual/Do-follow Filter PR>3, Not using other filters. 10 Dedicated private proxies 300 threads, 750 Niche keywords 3.5 ghz 2gb ram. I'm getting submission below 100 and verified 2,3 per day.

Is this poor or right result?
  • shaunshaun https://www.youtube.com/ShaunMarrs
I use SER differently to you, I haven't used SER like that in a long time in all honesty so I don't know.

Can anyone say? Why is my campaign for the plight of the.

@webm200 I would recommend you take off the PR filter. Google hasn't updated PR in quite some time now.

    How can I build TIER/PYRAMID  Campaign without PR filter. Eg: I'm using 3 tiers t1>pr 3 t2>p1 t3>p0.
I have ticked this option "Use YandexTIC as PR" in Advanced/settings.

Tell me something else though clue. Build pyramid tier.

@webm200 look at the structure Shaun posted in the first comment and start from there.
  • shaunshaun https://www.youtube.com/ShaunMarrs
Contextuals build a completely fresh page on the domain that only your and the admins account can post to provided blog comments are turned off or set to moderations meaning either way you are getting a brand new fresh page. No point in checking PR.

Back before my time people used to use the PR filter for things like blog comments and such as your link is going on the actual page but these days its pointless. With all the guys selling lists and link extraction being able to let you get most of these links quickly then these pages are spammed to crap no matter what their PR is showing. Anyone can post to it, including the guys pushing adult, casino and pharma. You dont want these pages pointing to your money site.

Thats the basics of why you dont need your PR filter.

Everyones rig and project settings are unique changing the number of VPM/VPD you will get. Over time you will build a better verified list and be able to pull better VPM. I havent checked in months but if I remember rightly I was getting 240 VPM contextuals and around 950 LPM (essentially VPM but I dont verify) non contextuals.

shaun Great advice :) thank u

    @Shaun please clarify

Collect keywords from target sites (Unticked)
Use collected keywords to find new target sites (Unticked)
Put keyword in quotes when used in search queries (Unticked)

Try searching with similar looking keywords (Ticked) In the Keywords box, keywords will search on the matching of a similar looking keywords?

  • shaunshaun https://www.youtube.com/ShaunMarrs
I dont use SER to scrape or collect target URLs.

The best way to go is just test, test and test again.
  • VMartVMart Natural SEO
    1) Why people avoid to tick
    Collect keywords from target sites
Use collected keywords to find new target sites
Put keyword in quotes when used in search queries

    2) Let me know use of "Try searching with similar looking keywords"

  • shaunshaun https://www.youtube.com/ShaunMarrs
I avoid ticking it because it slows SER down. You are getting to the point where you are going to have to start testing stuff for yourself mate you are asking for help on every little thing with SER now....

@shaun For eg: In Keyword field I am using only two keywords (Keyword a, Keyword b)
Only doing article submission (ticked article only in my project). All  Article foot print only doing extract/submission by ser After that completed keyword a,keyword b my project will stop?
    Collect keywords from target sites
Use collected keywords to find new target sites
If use I use this option then only it will search new keyword. I have confusion in this section.
  • Tick the box. Run the program and see what happens.

Untick the box. Run the program and see what happens.

Compare the two results. Make your own judgment about what is best for you.

    what @Johan said.
  • Hey @shaun, thanks for all your advices.

Just one question, would you use the "Allow posting on the same site again" function on your projects?

    Thanks!
