    @xapangoo

For T2 and T3 yes, for T1 it depends what I am doing and what I need SER to do.
  • Thank you for your help!
  • @shaun thanks. appreciated.

Even though links are still the most effective way of ranking, the way the search engine actually interprets the value of these links is slowly changing and has already begun to change. Right now as it stands, you can just purchase PBN links from high authoritative domains and you'll rank just fine but that's simply because of the link you obtained from such a good source doing the work.

    But..

Soon and it's already happening in some verticals, the relevance of the link is much more effective in increasing your rankings than just a bunch of high authorative PBN links, remember, I'm going to bring this out the closet, "quality not quantity" which is true to some extent, I use SER to build relevancy nowadays, not so much to funnel link juice, I'm not going to say anymore on this topic or I'll just be building your campaigns for you.

As time goes by, the search engines will only increase this algo or "ranking factor" and it will soon take over from the standard "authorative link" approach rendering PBN sellers useless because the links you buy will not be relevant nor can you build relevancy to the link because sellers do not give you a full link report to keep the privacy of the network. If you ask me, the way the search engine is progressing, it will be so much more difficult to rank by simply throwing your cash away on PBN packages, their focusing PBN sellers with this algo simply because PBNs are so effective, you can set up a site and throw £10,000 at it without doing any other SEO yourself or in house SEO and it'll rank just fine.

Spam and automated tools will still work just fine actually, but your campaigns will need to be properly set up and you'll have to have a clue about SEO instead of just inputting the keywords you want to rank for and pressing go but even with this approach there are still counter-measures to try and stop you from ranking, such as, anchor text ratio, link quality etc which is already inbuilt into the algo now.

New comers need to stop trying so hard to rank and asking how to rank and start practicing SEO themselves to better understand how things work, forget about knowing how to rank, if you understand how things work and what is possible and what isn't with a search engine, actually ranking will be simple, put pen to paper.
  • Thanks @shaun for keeping the thread active.

Your advice is very valuable. I have some doubts, PR Filter use, if not, how to find high authority domain can make the links punch.
Does GSA Ser PR Filter work? This option is for, why Yandex TIC as PR. Why is it for

@Tim89 - interesting posts, thanks for writing it up. One of my competitors began turning all of his PBNs into tightly focused niche sites a while back and it seems to have worked well for him.

@webm200 - why are you so concerned about these filters? Tim's post says "I use SER to build relevancy nowadays, not so much to funnel link juice", which is the exact opposite of what you are trying (and will likely fail) to achieve with SER.

@webm200 you don't need high authority link sources to create relevancy, I don't use pr filters, haven't used pr filters in a very long time, no need for it when you're building only contextual links, to find a decently quality tier 1 link, well, I would recommend using a PBN link or any stable long lasting link you can find.

@redrays increasing a high authority link or "pbn" relevancy increases rankings tenfold trust me, you can still have or use general PBN type blogs and still push relevancy to each post too.

    1) How to I generate PBN Links using GSA Ser?
    2) Can get high authority domains extract, using Scrapebox?

What I tick "Type of Backlinks to create" for my T1 - Contexual
  • @tim89 so you blast these pbn sites of yours with contextual links that is about your niche to create relevancy. Is this correct?
  • Tim89Tim89 www.expressindexer.solutions
@webm200 you can't really use SER to create "PBN" links, PBN is not a platform it's a private blog network, meaning, your own self hosted Web properties, I have used SER in the past to manage some of my self hosted Wordpress PBN sites but I stopped as the posts were buggy and unreliable.

If you use scrapebox to scrape sites, these still will not be PBNs, they will only be high authority sites that you can try and obtain a link from.

@bencrabara I don't blast my PBN sites, god no.

    Thank you very much.
I have some doubt to tick "Type of Backlinks to create" in my T1 Campaign, I'm using Article/Wiki/Web 2.0/Social network what should I tick there. Please suggest me

  • Hate to sound noobish, but when you guys refer to web2.0 sites (such as weebly, tumblr, wp, etc) I would need to create accounts for those and then use those created accounts/sites with added content to apply into gsa?
