I have been using Solid for a good while and I just switched everything over. I now have their proxies their highest ssd vps and the turbo highline vps and I couldn't be more satisfied.
The only thing that I would ask for is to have the option to pay the vps for quater, half a year, and a year. This is something that most vps providers offer. An added discount for the prepayment would really help. I guess im just one of those people that does not like to have too many monthly payments to worry about.

Just signed up as well. Looks like the SSD US servers are sold out so I just went for the spinning disk version. I was kind of worried about that since my current VPS is kind of crap and about the same specs - but I was interested to see the difference. And...
Solid VPS is day and night better. I've been wasting money on that old provider...

I was recently upgraded to their Super Wizard VPS as I had begun to outgrow my previous package. I was a little bit skeptical, for lack of a better word, that I would see a big difference. Boy, was I wrong. Even though it's listed as having the same amount of CPU cores and Ghz, their is a significant improvement in the architecture and the way the hardware operates.
Whereas on my previous package I was starting to peak the CPU out when running massively large lists on multiple projects, I have yet to peak beyond 50%, and only momentarily. So far, it has handled well everything I have thrown at it without missing a beat.
When you're working on 100+ projects, and serving clients, efficiency is paramount. I'm very happy with the upgrade and plan on doing the same for my other VPSs in the near future.
