Avoid posting URL on the same domain twice

edited October 2012 in Need Help
This options when checked does not work. Im finding more than 10 instances of links appearing on the same domains.

Huge bug, Huge footprint exposed to Google.

Please fix this bug. It was already reported many times starting with the thread what said GSA was posting on XFIRE more than once.

And I said it worked fine for me and someone should provide a project backup. Still I got nothing and so I can not fix it if it doesn't appear on my end.

It does appear in my tier 3 project as i have included BLOGS for T3. Here is the tier 3 started 2 days ago.

Also, i have all the other blogs selected. Why only xfire, wordpress and xanga? Should be many more.

  • are you sure?
for pligg you get one backlink in your profile and one in your bookmark on some sites. and all backlinks SER has created point to another site or not?

Your right maybe, i have to look more carefully at Pligg and that may be a bad example but xfire is for sure.

From the screenshots I see that each entry has a different URL posted. Also on xfire. So I think all is OK from that.
  • My understanding from the option that says, dont post to the same url more than once is that it wont post to the same root url.

    Am i missing something here?

    http://xfire.com/sandi
    http://xfire.com/peter
    http://xfire.com/paul

is posting duplicates to the same root domain.

That does apply for none tier projects yes. For tier projects it will create a link on that page even if the domain is the same but you have a different URL to submit there (as tier projects use the urls of the main one).
