New Engines?

I'm still really new to SER, when new engines are released like today (6/27/13) is it up to me to go into existing projects and check them to enable them?

How do I know if they will help me or not?

    you can right click the engine selection window and select "all new" (or whatever its called) to safe some clicks.

    you'll never know if you don't use them. but from the nature of those new engines you should know that they are good for Tier2+ at best (if you not gonna churn and burn your sites).
