I’m getting a lot of download failed errors. How can I fix it? Check if GSA is blocked by a Firewall or Antivirus software. Another reason can be bad proxies, often public ones. Try without or choose other/private proxies to check if it works better then.

now it suddently pause at 15 threads , seem stoped. i found i have 15 projects.
rephrase in full when i click stop, nothing happen, just stick at 15 threads, click start, still nothing happen. close gsa, it won't exit. i kill by task manager. restart. click start, it run at full 1000 threads, but in a few of minutes, it still at 15 threads too. repeatly, stop,start both no work, and cannot close it. kill it and restart. the same happen.
when restart, i clear url cache, it can run at full threads for a little long time, like hours. but finally stop at 15 theads again.
one more question, is it have something to do with url cache? where is url cache stored? i check identify folder, not this folder.

do you really need 1000 threads? try to lower that to 100 first and increase threads when you feel that everything runs smoothly.
maybe your error is caused by memory failures.

Yes 1000 threads means 1000 open ports. This is stress for any low cost router. There is no use for more than 100 threads in my eyes.

if you fix it, gsa will be much more power, i can not hire a guy sitting front PC and watching it and if stick , restart the gsa. cost is very high.
my pc is dedicated server, i7 2600, so it should run 1000 threads. plz read in detail, just remind, gsa stick at 1 thread per project, if i have 15 project, gsa will finally stop at 15 threads for days.

the question is if the router can handle 1000 threads.?! Once overheated it could fall back to 1 thread (in my theory). Silly question with your setup, but do you use public proxies, too?

If you have some technical understanding you can optimise your TCP/IP connection:
Please read that thread very careful and leave the TTL field empty. Also you need to know the exact values of "Receive Buffers" and "Transfer Buffers" your network adapter is capable of.
Don't forget to backup everything first.
I did that a few days ago and my gut says that it helped a lot in terms of submission rate. Maybe it helps you too to get a more stable connection. But as I said, you need to be careful and know what you are doing. I won't give any support here, because everything you need to know is described very well in that thread.
