Help Improve LPM - 2LPM (pics included)

edited May 2013 in Need Help
Hello there,

I've been using SER for a few weeks now and have read nearly every post by @ron, @LeeG etc.

I'm really having issues going above 2LPM and I hope someone can see something from my settings that I might be missing.

Hope someone can help.

Looking over that quickly, its not much different to my own settings.

On the email, untick the 15 minutes between checks

Your proxies are showing as 11k

So it means your using scraped as well, bin the scraped ones, by the sounds of it, you have plenty of private proxies. Scraped proxies suck. Ask Ozz :)

It shows your running at 250 threads on the bar, so its trying to post or finding plenty of targets at the time the screen shot was done. You need to work on killing the low yield engines.

Main option button > advanced > tools and there are a couple of stats options

Look at the submitted and bin the rest, then look at the verified and see which ones are giving you results

Why waste time submitting to engines that use decapcha etc

    LeeG is right :D

My first look when i see such a screenshot is always on the status bar.

You can read as much guides and tutorials as you want. If public proxies are in use there is nothing that will help you to get a decent submitting rate.

Edit: I just saw your log and the proxy settings which seems fine. I suggest to get rid of that public proxy list nevertheless. Furthermore make sure your private proxies are marked as private.
  • Removed all public proxies; which were only used for PR checking.
Un-ticked the 15 minutes between email checks.

    LPM is now 15.

    Plan for today is:

    Remove all low yield engines
Remove low-yield footprints inside .INI files.

    Thanks peeps.
  • sounds like a plan. good luck.

You did a great job listening to everybody's advice based on the settings.

I have a slightly different approach. I would also run things without any PR filter - I don't use that on my projects and everything works out great for ranking. You end up passing on soooo many links, and that hurts LPM.

I would also give it a rip without using site lists. I get a consistent 130-150 LPM just letting SER find targets with no lists, either site lists or fed lists.

My approach has always been to see how well SER does straight out of the box using search to find its targets. In the meantime, I have been developing one helluva site list to use whenever I feel the need. But I have gone 9 months now without using a site list, and without PR filters, so my results speak for themselves.

p.s. You can always use a PR filter to find juicier targets, I just would keep that as a separate project, and not use that on every project.

  • Thanks for your input Ron.

I'm setting PR filters to the T1 projects only. T2-3-4 have no PR filters.

I'm now running SER without any site-lists enabled. Let's see how it goes.

    Just hit 22LPM   :)>-

Another SER user on their way to faster LPM =D>

I have to hand it to you @Lebanon, you obviously scoured the threads to learn everything you could about the right settings - and that makes it more fun for people like @Ozz, @Lee and me to help.

Thanks @ron. Have to give you guys most of the credit :-)

Did take me a 1-2 weeks to get everything together; reading, testing etc.

Trying to hit the 50LPM mark at the moment. I've selected 8/12 Social engines, added extra footprints and removed the low-yield footprints within the .ini files.  Great way to spend a Sunday evening  :>

But that's the type of work you do to succeed.

I just spent the better part of 8 hours experimenting with different selections of search engines. Talk about wanting to shoot myself.

Is that all, I should never have  shared that one.

You could have been there a lot longer :((

  • ronron SERLists.com
@Lee I think you should be a motivational speaker =))
  • AlexRAlexR Cape Town
@LeeG - are you using a new email for each project? Is that why you disable the 15 mins between login check? I'm using a catchall for all my T1's on a VPS, would you recommend I disable that?
  • LeeGLeeG Eating your first bourne

AlexR if your running projects on a 10 minute rotation.

With the wait 15 minutes tick box ticked

ie 10 projects, 30 minute rotation on the scheduler

In that 30 minute period, you will only check two of those mail boxes

  • Back to 7LPM. Will have to check my SE selections.
  • LeeGLeeG Eating your first bourne

Just use your global sites lists to bump up submission rates

I also use the verified lists as well, again personal preference

@LeeG - another gem of advise. Changed for all projects now. :-)

    Spent the whole day tweaking.

See, my favourite equation at its very best

Time + Effort = high submissions

If only there were more members like you about ^:)^

We could all pester Sven when we break ser :-\"

  • ronron SERLists.com

Yeah I'm very proud of @Lebanon too.

I think there should be a one week moratorium where new users are required to read and search the forum, and create test projects aiming links at somebody like wikipedia.

Then they see what works, they tweak their settings, they improve their LPM, they analyze the engines to see what is good and bad based on the data, they tweak the engines - then they go live.

Ok, I just woke up... I-)

  • One quick thing. How would I find out which footprints are low yield and the same for the search engines?
  • Just hit 50 LPM with 8 shared proxies!
  • Read the Links Per Minute Thread. It's all there.
  • Was thinking, maybe @Sven could add a LPM league table?. Have an option on SER to submit your current LPM; just a bit of fun :-)

@Lebanon no way sorry...Im no fan of this lpm number thing ;)
