  • GSA is making money from selling software license. Why would they lose their time to build backlinks

@CL67F are you serious? You are accusing me/GSA for stealing your created links and use them for ourself? NO! Of course not! I find it strange and disappointing that you even ask such questions.

Sven, I  am accusing nothing at all ! It's not a steal for me !
Links are not private and are the property of everybody !
I don't see any problem with such a behaviour.
    It's just a remark !
Simply, I would do this for my own backlinks creation for my website !
Backlinks are not secretely preserved, they are public !!!

Sven, I don't want to create any problem. Can suppress this post if you want.

Sven, could also propose and offer regularly packages of backlinks urls to the community.
    It's an idea.

Sven, in fact it's a steal if you sale the backlinks and make money with them but not for a private use, for me.

We are not doing anything like that. How do you think we would get hold of the links someone created with SER? It's not like we have some backdoor or anything alike. We don't steal (I call it that way!) anything!

Sven, suppress this post. Forget it !
We are all runing after urls every months ... it's an unusable and illimited source of urls ... SER is connected to the internet ...
Personnally, I don't see any problem if you reuse my urls for your own needs ...

Sorry Sven. Never mind about stealing or accusing.
I am sure, in your place, we all save the best urls from SER users if we own the software and reuse the urls for our own needs in private !
I dont' see any problem about that !
In plus, I will not buy urls every months !!! It's ridiculous !!!

GSA is NOT collecting any data from customers or even from users who use the trial. The only exception here is license related things (activation, deactivation, checking for updates)!
I hope I made my point clear with this statement and there are no questions left. I am really a bit disappointed. This acumination came out of the blue and hit me hard.

no clue what that should mean but yea...I have nothing else to add to this accusation

Interestingly, someone could write an SEO utility or even create a GSA add-on like a CAPTCHA solver or whatever else  that does have a backdoor and periodically sends your verified links to an IP.

The links are stored in a file on your machine/VM for SER.

For someone who could write a utility in Windows, or just copy-n-paste an existing  utility's code, it's easy to do.

So....be careful what you download. Always. A program for SEO would potentially  be doing this, and not some utility for organizing recipes. I mean, a SEO person may have GSA SER. A recipe-organizing person is far less likely to. :| So someone creating such a link-stealer would target the audience with a SEO utility. Probably free.
