How to block specific extensions?

I started a topic a couple of days ago and it seems that when you try to block domain extensions it will incorrectly block domains:

For example, when you try to block domains with .th extension it will actually block a website such as www.thewebsite.com. Is there any way to just block .th domains (for example by ignoring the www. string)? If not, what is currently the best way to block sites with a specific extension?
