Domain Filter: .in and .info

Would anyone know whether filtering the domain ".in" would also block ".info"? (in Options->skip sites with words in URL)

Basically I was getting a lot of links from India and was considering blocking the domain to rather get more links from Europe/North America

    .in is not blocking .info
  • Thanks for fast response Sven!
  • I have done some further testing and wanted to block sites from Thailand: ".th" by using the "skip sites with the following words in the URL/Domain"

Unfortunately this resulted in the following results:
    Filter ".th" matches http://www.thetruthtv.co.uk/content/immediate-methods-how-get-rid-kidney-stones-whats-needed

Because of this it actually blocked posting on the ".co.uk" site. I am not sure if it is working as intended as it could be made to work in such as way to ignore the "www." part for example when a user wants to filter domain extensions.

Unless I am missing something, based on this logic, .in would be probably also blocking .info

I finally had time to debug this and it will get fixed in next version.
