@micha Xrumer not 64 bit and now you have to pay monthly fee. If you recently bought Xrumer you have 4 month included but after 4 months you have to pay monthly fee.
I have 2 licenses for SER but i would not have bought SER if there was a monthly fee..., monthgly fees can put people off buying especially if you are just starting out..
One good solution it can be to leave the one time fee, but to make pay for every requested improvement or feature request. Maybe $10 for every single requested feature can be a reasonable fee. There are not many tools where, as i see here almost every day, users can request a new feature and to get it ready in a couple of days, for free.
At the moment, there is only the voluntary "donate" button for to thanks the developer, but as Sven told us, very few people use it :-)
@Trevor_Bandura Yes, I agree with you, it's not bad to discuss about this topic, because I think we all thanks @Sven for the great daily work here and his support to all our problems, and we'd like to see his efforts rewarded (so he can be stimulated to create much more new features ). That's the reason I too opened a similar threads some days ago https://forum.gsa-online.de/discussion/comment/56025/
Many people won't like to pay monthly fee. And GSA would lose many customers because it would no more bee lifetime license. But it would be awesome if we could donate some cash, maybe developers can put donate button in GSA and when we click it will redirect us to Paypal donate page. I'm sure everyone would tip a few bucks. I would be happy to donate every time I have a few bucks left on my balance.
@Rkt77 There is a donate button at the top of this website. But maybe having it in SER would also be a good idea as not all GSA customers come to the forum.
The thing is, i don't know if Sven would want to put it in the software or not.
I think of Sven now more like a Robin Hood figure since he has mentioned a few times of how he hates the big corporations especially big G so his pricing structure is in keeping with that philosophy.
Monthly subscribtion is usually not affordable for beginners/poor peoples - they can maybe afford (after some spare months) one time payment but not a subscribtion.
After success (if they will ever be successful) they can pay monthly too.
But if there were only monthly subscribtions probably many of you were not in internet business...
Get well soon Sven - I'd rather buy more licenses than be forced to pay monthly. Everyone should figure out SER then scale up. Scaling up means more licenses which means $250+ (inc CB/Indexer) for GSA/Sven.

@sweeppicker - yes, I think buying software is the best way for helping developer.
