Best operating system to run GSA on?

Having to decide between 2008 and windows 7 or windows XP

Which system would GSA run on the best/most stable?
And how many threads do you think that 2 GB of ram could handle?

    Personally i'd choose 2008 server R2 64 bits.

    With 200 threads SER uses 600MB and CB 175MB on my system.

    My old VPS was 2003 and new one is 2008. Much better. Can't speak for 7 though.

    Perhaps my system was a bit of an overkill, 6.8 ghz and 2 gb ram, 100 mbps

    I am only running two projects right now, will have to figure out what to do with the rest of the resources :)

    I used to have a different Win version running SER. When I switched to Win Server 2008 I got about a 20% improvement in performance. 

    I didn't do any specific tests to verify that, but on 3VPS that's about the improvement I got after the change.
