[Freezing] Anyone Else?

Hey guys,

   Ever since 4.27 GSA keeps freezing. IT will say 110 threads, but there is no movement. After I press cancel it starts to submit and then stops the project.

 

   If I start it again, it will start but freeze again!

  I loaded fresh proxies, added lots of keywords so that is not the issue

I have the same problem, If I click stop it will finish the current threads and when restarted it will go OK for a little while but then freeze again proxies etc are all OK and everything was working hunky dory until the update.

Logs, it will just hang there until I stop it or go very slowly  (do one every 10 minutes or so).

Do you guys still have this problem? I have had this forever now, and I thought I was the only one. What did you do to fix it?

I had it in 6.03, but not as yet in 6.05

I thought it was just me till i read this thread. Trying 6.03 now to see if there is any difference.

For me it has been happening for a month or two, and I update everytime it is available. It is extremely frustrating, hopefully the users above found a solution

We should find what we have in common to see if there is a possible casue:

I run it on my laptop i7 8gb ram with windows 8.

I run it at 120 threads(This is not the cause,I have tried lower threads)

I am running 15 projects(This is not the cause because I have tried running 1 project)

I am running the current version 6.05.

I usually on have GSA ser , cb , and indexer running at the same time. I will sometimes run UD.

When it freezes, it acts the same as it does with davbel

Next version allows you to create a custom bugreport (snapshot of current threads) using the help menu. Hopefully this helps to find the issue.

Hey, it continues to freeze, and I have sent multiple bug reports. Have you received them?

yes, but nothing to see in there...the thread stacks are all full of garbage calls...I have no clue where this is coming from.

Same problem for me. But I wonder if it's related to too many projects? Is there a recommended number of projects we can have? I dont mean Active I mean in total. As I have about 100...
