@doubleup ok so you blast the shit out of a site fair enough, but how the hell do you get those links indexed in under 24 hours for the rankings to increase in such a short period of time?
You'll only get SERP increase once a link is indexed right?
So ranking for the term 'payday loans' requires ALOT of links, how can you index those backlinks in under 24 hours and also how comes you don't suffer from any fluctuations?
Every site I've built links for in the past suffer from massive drops then followed by massive gains, up down up down until I stop building and indexing, then the rank stabilises, but judging from what your doing, your setting up a site, spamming it to death and it just plops up in the top 3.
That doesnt just happen.. There's gotta be more to it!
Any idiot can spam a site, but not all those links are going to get indexed in under 24 hours in order to rank in under 24 hours..
I'd like it very much if you can elaborate on this please.
@Tim89 There was really nothing special to it, the links pointing to the site tell you that. You've got to capitalise on something when the situation allows you to. Google released an updated, so you’ve got to find out how to rank when the update is released. At the time, there was a specific way of ranking in that niche, so that’s what I done. If you try that way of ranking for the keyword now, it won’t work, as google are aware of the issue.
In the UK I'm no longer seeing ANY junk in the top 10 for payday loans, maybe except www.paydayangels.co.uk/ but I think this is a 'legit' site....
Now I see Guardian.co.uk, WIkipedia etc... Like every other SERP Boring. What I don't get is, why did Google take so long to act on this? It's been junk results for over a year
@spunko2010 they only did something because of all the media attention. There are still many other verticals where the results are just as easy to spam.
I recently found one niche where 9 out of the 10 results are EMD / PMD with the same, but slightly different content on each site and minor changes to the template.
The only other site in the top ten is the brand owner.
@davbel A lot of ClickBank product names are like that. The owner of the product doesn't care if you use the trademark names. It's easy ranking, but lots of competition too.
@davbel Not anymore. While rankings are easier because there are practically none authority site, it requires constant babysitting as well. More and more affiliates enter the market every day. Many of them use SEO as traffic strategy, but amount of products popular enough to get 2-3k searches per month is so limited.
