Add X links to t2?

Hi all, just wondering what the consensus is, on using the new 'Add X links' to article option. I am adding 1-2 for T1 for obvious reasons, and I have been adding the same to T2. However checking over my submissions I am not sure if this just diluting the links down too much?  I have even added it to T3 just to be safe on some projects but I'm not sure thats just wasting time and resources and diverting Google off-course too much?

    Anyone? Would love to hear how many links you are adding to get some opinions on what is a good number of links per article NOT pointing to my own tiers.

    the reason you don't get an exact answer is because there isn't an exact answer to that. do whatever what feels right for you and makes some sense for your projects.
    try different settings on different projects. maybe you can give good advice by time.

    personally i don't do more than 1 (if ever).
