How to get niche based backlinks?

for example... my money site is about music... so i only wnat backlinks on sites which are about music...

how would u do that...?

my only idea is to use only music based keywords... but most engines / targets are not keyyword based...

... and they don't have to. Article/Directory sites are filtered by categories. Social bookmarks could be anything by the nature of the platform, ....

forum profiles or social networks could be pre-scraped with footprints + some common keywords like "music, lyrics, ..." and/or "inurl:"-footprints (inurl:music) and import the list to your project. but don't hold your breast if you don't find enough targets.
