1313 Submitted, 32 Verified Links - Is This Normal?

edited April 2013 in Need Help
Hey guys, just bought GSA SER a few days ago, still going through a lot of the threads and watching the tutorials.

Last night I decided to take the plunge and setup a campaign.

Checked off everything EXCEPT:  exploit, guestbook, pingback, referrer and video.

Today in the afternoon I see GSA keeps running with 1313 submitted but only 32 verified links.

Does this mean only 32 links went live from the 1300 I submitted?  Am I doing something wrong and how do you INCREASE the number of verified links?  I'm sorry if this has been covered somewhere already, perhaps you can send me the link, but I've been searching and reading a lot of threads and can't seem to figure this one out yet.

Lastly, is it possible that I have more links built but it's just not showing in the 32 verified links section yet? Thanks guys! :)

  • Yep, 32 accepted from the 1300 submitted. I'm personally getting about 15% verified rate, which I think is the norm.

I would blast a few dummy campaigns out for a week or so, get about 20k of submitted links, the you can optimise the scraper to only scrape certain platforms, ie the ones that have a high verify & submitted rate.

There's a youtube tutorial by fatsteve which will give you the gist on how to go about it.
  • But your 15% verified rate is much better than mine, I'm sitting at about 2% verified.

Does everyone start out with that low rate adn then after they filter through the platforms, they get higher %?

give it some time. i like bouncingnrgs advice to set up some dummy project to play with settings, which engines to use, etc.

also it depends on some factors we don't know of. if you are in the porn niche for example than many of the keywords are blacklisted on the sites you try to post to.
  • No this is a local client niche that does cleaning.

So that's why I'm surprised even more that verified rate is so slow.  But perhaps I should check out that video to see how to do the filter of the not submitting sites..

Change your keywords, make them broader, always helps me in this situation.
  • Depends on so many factors;

    what engine you use
what your content is like (this is huge)
how active webmasters are to read comments, process articles, go through directory submits etc

Din't forget, you have submitted 1345 of which 32 are verified.  You submitted links column will drop as verified rises.  As they get 5 days old, they will drop off completely and you will get loads of verified/timeouts.  This is normal.

It is probably well worth you while to read the FAQ if you haven't yet.
