Bermanhosting, - suspened due to spam.

Woke this morning to find I couldnt connect or ping my vps with bermanhosting. so submitted a ticket.

Reply I got back was:

"There are SPAM complaints coming from your IP. Your VPS will be transferred to another node."

Im still awaiting them to move me, but I have used 30 private proxies from day one of using SER.
I NEVER turn proxies off.

So, how to hell could my hosting get spam complaints??

    what were your proxy setting?

    - were your proxies marked as private?
    - disable bad private/public proxies on use [checked or unchecked?]
    - stop projects on no active proxies [checked or unchecked?]

    @Zeusy, nothing is 100% full proof. I had similar incidents with Xrumer, and it turned out that some of my private proxies leaked an originating IP several times. Bugs happen.

    Yea..i guess bugs do happen, but only been using it on the vps for the last 3 weeks :-/
    Berman now moved my vps onto a US node and its now backup.

    That is irritating. Mine has been running for about six weeks with no problems, hope it stays that way.

    Did you lose any data?

    @ Crownvic : Thanks for confirming what I just found out. Be careful when posting guys but this is not a big deal if just scraping though.
