In my Verified list i have many : sitelist_[SEREngines.com] Web 2.0-______ files which are all SERENGINES Verified files.

I have noticed when i run the list thru GSA PI or "GSA SER Clean Up" it cleans out the  SERENGINES Verified files and basically there are no longer any SERENGINES Verified files after running them thru GSA PI or GSA Clean Up

@ Sven - So my question is does it delete the SERENGINES verified files and will it Delete any custom Engines in the Identified or Verified list ?

    The SERengines are encrypted so no they aren't in Pi, but if you know the footprints for the engines you want you can add them to the "custom engines" or drop them in the engines folder. That's the reason you don't see them in the output in Pi.

    As for the cleanup in SER, I'm not entirely sure about that one.

    @s4nt0s

    Ok so correct me if my understanding is correct as below:

    If i create a GSA PI project
    I select my Verified folder  as the source ( in which are sitelist_[SEREngines.com] Web 2.0-______ files )
    I save the output to new folder.

    When i run the project will GSA PI sort the :  sitelist_[SEREngines.com] Web 2.0-______ files   as  UNKNOWN ?

    Maybe @sven can advise the same about cleanup in SER  -- i thought i copied him in the 1st post but seems not.

    That is correct, they aren't recognized unless the engines were added to the engine folder.

    @s4nt0s
    Thanks for the prompt response

    OK, i have just added all my custom engines to GSA PI  -- but i will just copy the serengine sitelist files over to the output folder

    I am curious to hear what cleanup in SER does with Serengines sitelist

    almost all serengines scripts have a fixed url, so holding a site list for that is not really needed.

    @Sven

    Not sure what you mean with all serengines scripts have a fixed url,

    Here is a partial screensshot of my verified folder, there are a total of :Category – [SEREngines.com] Web 2.0: 825522
    Category – [SEREngines.com] Web 2.0 Profile: 23

    These sitelist was added by GSA ser

    @sven

  • SvenSven www.GSA-Online.de
