updating the software

in GSA Search Engine Ranker
hi, when i start the software it says there is a new version avaliable but if i update all unsaved data will be lost,
how can i save all my data so it doesnt get lost? or does gsa save it automatically?

    it saves automatically.

    Just to make sure, before you update, stop SER and restart it, then update.
