What SER uses for 'Searching'

I use proxy for posting only...so SER searches using my home IP .. How does SER search? does it use internet explorer and thus use IE proxy settings?

I ask this because I have other tool which change IE proxy settings regularly to change IP..

So if SER uses IE, does that mean it will use the same proxy setting that my other tool uses?

    SER don't use IE and your proxy settings won't get touched.

    It is not using any IE or such. It uses there own code to submit/post/parse...no 3rd party dlls/ddc/activex or whatsoever.
