    Yes, you need...... your internet service provider or your server provider will ban you, if you use the service ip ip...

    (I got many report from providers when dont use proxies)

    Yeah, I have to use proxies and make sure they are anonymous. When I was using the indexer without proxies and with proxies that weren't anonymous, I kept getting letters from Time Warner (my ISP). Since I've switched to only anonymous, I haven't received anymore threatening letters :-).

    Why do they ban you or whatever? Is there something "wrong" with indexing links?

    There are countless sysadmins and automated systems that will email the abuse contact of your ip in a reverse ip lookup if they see something they don't like.

    no the proxy is not must.. but if you want to blast (more then 1000 links in one day) upon a specific web site then the proxy should be must..
