Shared VS Dedicated proxies with GSA SER
We all know that dedicated proxies are much better than shared private proxies. I am currently using shared proxies and am thinking about switching over to dedicated proxies. Looking at the stats of some users (ron) I noticed he was able to get 1000 threads with 30 proxies enabled ( I am guessing they are dedicated ). Just wanted to confirm that if I decide to go with 30 dedicated proxies, will I be able to run 1000 threads with GSA SER? Will this be possible from a home computer or will I have to invest in a dedicated server to be able to get 1000 threads? @ron @gooner @2take2 I am looking forward to your thoughts and expertise.

For 1000 threads you will likely need a dedi/VPS, even if your machine can handle 1000 threads i doubt your connection can without affecting speed when browsing etc. But it depends on a lot of factors and how good your connection is.
For proxies, i have switched from dedicated proxies to semi-dedicated recently. I find for the same money you can get better results with more shared proxies. But that depends on other factors too, such as who you are sharing the proxies with.
