Is it possible to add articles in all projects at once?

The thing is that i set up a project and duplicated it 15 times. Now i'm getting some messages in the log asking me to add new articles.

I wanted to know if i can add/import the same article into all projects at once, since all the projects are the same (duplicates).

Any idea?

    not possible right now.
  • LazyBlue allows it.
  • @dmrt thanks, i just noticed that tool. But i read that it's if u use article builders. Does it have any feature for manual articles? Since i just copy paste them from a random generator into a text file.
  • @gulianoditommaso,

Here's what I do to duplicate articles to all my similar projects.

First, manually add all your articles into your Project01. When you're satisfied with it, quit SER.

Locate SER projects folder. Something like,

    C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\GSA Search Engine Ranker\projects

Look for Project01.articles. Copy and rename that file to,

    Project02.articles
    .
    .
    Project15.articles

Reload SER, and you'll see the articles added to all your projects. Works on ver 8.83, Sven may change the data structure in future...

  • @Olve1954 awesome, so lets say i have 5 projects, and every project have 5 articles each. If i want to add 5 more i just have to add them to first project and then rename the file for the other articles? So this will overwrite the actual articles in the other projects?
  • Yes, copy and rename the file for other articles. Or...

You can open all Project01 - 05.articles, and copy the contents of the 1st .articles to the others, then save all files...
  • gulianoditommaso ,

Yeah just what Olve1954 said, but I'm not too sure on how ser uses the unique hex identifier at the end of each article for each .articles file. Though I think this should still be okay. I just did remember that LazyBlue can also assign non-AB articles with its ArticleManager, althought it can't re-use the same article for other projects. Will just update something. Thanks
