Moving SER to DEDI. How?

Hey guys.

I am sure its already discussed here somewhere but due to the massive amount of tekst here and the - not so good working - searchbox im asking my question here.

Im in the middle of stting up my SER copy on a new dedi and i want to copy everything from the old VPS.

Is there somewhere a tut or something? I tried to copy the whole SER folder to the dedi but it still is asking for my license etc. and my old campaigns aint showing up too.

Any help would be really appreciated.

TY

I made a tutorial about it a long time ago http://sertips.com/how-to-transfer-your-copy-of-gsa-sercomplete-with-global-site-listsprojects-to-a-new-server/.

I think it covers everything, but feel free to ask if something is confusing.

@donaldbeck - ROFL. I have to keep up with the younger guys like you. I suppose I will have to open up a Youtube channel and get a Twitter account. Maybe open up a Facebook page and get Google Circles going.

Guys like you are a thorn in my side, lol.

simple case of backup settings, projects and installing ser onto a new machine, then re-import everything. job done.
