A problem with import urls (identify and sort in) into global site list.

edited December 2012 in Need Help
I imported a 230k list with URLS(identify and sort in) into global site list and only get 10k Identified and 70k Unknow when finish.

I'd like to know where are the other sites?

well how can we know what site list you have unless you share it with us.
  • Hi no matter what list is it, I think identified plus unknown should equal the total amount. But not I don't know where are the other 150k
  • Hi, Sven.

Could you please help me out with this issue. Because too much list are wasted.

Also, where can I send u the list?

Are your URLs in the list formatted in a proper way with HTTP:// or HTTPS:// ?
  • Hi Ozz, they are not begin with http:// . let me try to add them
Anyway, still 80k working without http://

these 80% probably had a www. in front which is than auto corrected.
  • I see, you are correct. It's fine after I add http://. Thanks a million for the kindly help.
  • When I import a list and I save unknown and run that again it find alot more sites it know. I done this 7 times it keeps finding more it know.

Why dont it take them all in the fist go?

    proxy down or slow sites.
  • dont use proxy.. It is strange as I do 100k list and run it. it know 50% in first go. When I run it again and its alost 50% of the 50k that it know. The % keeps going lower as I run it more.

I just wanted to let you know. Could be a bug or something,

    Thanks

most propably its the sites itself ,your connection or filters.

if you have an OBL filter its only normal for blog commenting that the number of targets decreasing as more outbound links are found on that site for example.
  • I use the URLS(identify and sort in) under options>advanced. Its not when I post.
