Feature Request CRITICAL

Hello!

I think these features are absolutely critical..

- Ability to load proxy lists via file now it just per clipboard.
- Proxy checker IS VERY VERY UNSTABLE!!!
- Clear all proxy lists only one at the time now.
- More threads for proxy checking,scraping now 300 MAX 
- Add the 4GB switch to the application so it can use more ram for those of us on 64 bit systems.

    Critical for me is just that you posted it originally to "GSA SEO Indexer --> Bugs" ^^

    1) Add/Edit Proxy Sites --> parse File
    2-3) @Sven need to reply to that. Its not clear to me what you mean with "clear all proxy list" though??
    4) Was already discussed here

    I mean clear all proxy sources.. I don't like clearing one by one...

    Delete all proxy sites! Not de select them :D

    Also "edit providers by hand" feature won't work..

    1) Add/Edit Proxy Sites --> parse File - will not work...

    Searching for new proxies...
    DL C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop\proxysources.txt
    Extracting proxies...NOTHING Found! Check site.
    Result -> NOTHING Found! Check site.
    -[ end ]-------
    No proxies found.

    to delete all sources its easiest to edit "proxyfinder.ini" in "..\AppData\Roaming\GSA Search Engine Ranker".
    do a backup first though.

    i think INI could be a problem... it has a max size of 75k so you can't really load 40k proxy sources :)

    I'm confused. Do you want to add new proxy scources (sites with proxy lists) or do you want to add proxy IPs from a list you got??

    well, you need to add each site by hand as all sites might have different settings which needs to be defined. SER doesn't recognize the needed settings automatically, as there are many different sources with proxies like SEs, blogs or forums. Each one of them needs different settings, filters, etc.

    Proxy scrapper checker is very very unstable!! Main UI thread should not be blocking while proxy scanning :)
    Within seconds it shows not responding..


    Oh well.. :D

    btw, 40k proxy sources, wtf?? i doubt that anyone needs that much scources nor it makes sense at all as most sites duplicating from each other or are outdated.

    can't tell you that. you have to wait for an answer by the developer.

    I will think about some of the suggestions/"bugs". Most of them are not critical at all or have been implanted already. That 40k discussion is just stupid (again). Who told you that a ini file can only hold 40k of data? A ini file is nothing but a structured format. The way my ini's are proceed are not limited to any size.

    upcoming version will have ...

    - fix: edit proxy sources by hand didn't work
    - new: ability to use more than 300 threads for proxy searcher
    - fix: ability to delete unchecked proxy sources

    Very good :)

    Maybe you could see why the GUI is being blocked when the threads are running.
