Duplicate Captchas

Hi @Sven

I get a lot of repeat captchas, that both hammer my thread count on external services, or cost me lost of extra money:

I enabled the "cache answers" and "save recognised captchas" options... What is set wrong? How get I get so many duplicates? And why doesn't CB answer them from memory?

Thanks!

hmm the problem seems to be that the captchas even though looking identical, are actually not 100% identical when compared in bytes. It would be nice if you can save them and send it over to see if thats the case.
  • here some samples: https://www.dropbox.com/s/sum3mrl3s6ayuah/samples.zip?dl=0

PS. I notice that recognised recaptchas are not being saved to disk automatically, although i set this option, how can I set this? Other captchas are saved...

found the issue with the cache. Will get fixed in next update.
  • how about recaptchas from third party services not being saved? I want those cached too, and save them for later use..
  • SvenSven www.GSA-Online.de
recognised captchas are only those solved by CB itself, everything else (also by services) are considered unsolved.
  • PS. 2captchas also does the recaptcha v2, right? Can these be saved too? We are looking into training an AI solution..
  • so I should save unsolved captchas to capture these?
  • SvenSven www.GSA-Online.de
    yes
  • What means "skip unchecked"?
And "save only unknown / new types" probably saved the ones send to services?

    This is the correct config?

  • just unticked those two and now it works, thanks! looking forward to your update, you have an ETA?

no clue yet, still some more captchas on my list that i like to get added first.
  • isn't this costing everyone double the paid captchas?
  • Hi @sven is this solved with the last update?
  • SvenSven www.GSA-Online.de
yes it should be solved. Make sure you have that option to "cache answered" checked.
