Public proxies

Hi Guys,

I use GSA search engine ranker to create say 700 Backlinks for my YT video. 
I Just use PUBLIC proxies for doing so.

People say that it is better to use private proxies instead because the public ones would be banned soon.
But what is the affect this on my submitted links?
Is it the only negative part of using the public proxies please? 
Does the banned proxy has anything to do with the submitted links that were created by that public proxy when it was working if you know what I mean?

To be honnest yet I have no good thought about disadvantages of public proxies, SO I would be very thankful if you please enlighten me...

    If you have a source of stable, anonymous public proxies who are fast then of course nothing speaks against them. But generally it is not the case.
