"Reading projects" incredibly slow when merging projects

Hi,

When merging projects, the "Reading projects..." box is taking 1 or 2 seconds per project to go through the list. With around 2000 projects this can take a really long time, and takes a similar amount of time on an SSD as well. When starting the program it's much faster, but on merging projects there may be some bug causing it to take so long.

Any help would be great.

    No, merging about 20 projects to one.

    2000 is the total amount of projects, but it is reading every single project every time I merge

    or me it is reading the projects only once it is done with the merging.
