HTML email

Hi

Just got GSA email spider. I was able to scrape email addresses but I have 2 issues going on.

1. I pasted HTML code in the "Text" section below subject and sent a test email. The email I received was all code. So how do we send HTML emails?
2. Silly question but I am not sure how to send emails. I had automailer enabled but I am not sure if any emails were sent. Does the software show how many emails were sent?

    I figured out the html thing. But I am unable to send emails. I have tried both MAPI and SMTP options. I am using a VPS.

    Do not use MAPI but try using SMTP. For that you need to use the correct server names and ports. Have a look here: http://docu.gsa-online.de/email_spider/email_provider_settings

    I am using yahoo and if I use smtp server 25 then even the test email wont go. The test email works on port 465.

    Tried outlook.com and it says "must issue a starttls command first".

    enable SSL box at the bottom.

    Now I am using aol and the test passed but I still dont see any emails sent. Also, is there a way to stop scraping and just enable email sending?

    Works now after selecting the default under template. I had created a new template with mask as a keyword and it wasn' working. Can you provide some more info on mask please?
