Would there be any benefit to using an API from links research

I was playing around with http://www.linkresearchtools.com/ and I was curious, if we had an API, would the efficiency of GSA go up 100 fold?
I mean, if we only placed to verifiable good sites and using best practices, it seems that our campaigns would go much better.

Is it worth developing an API hook for GSA and links guy to help our premium clients?
