I am running Kapersky Anti Virus 2013
I am running GSA SEO Indexer V. 1.59 at 100 threads

My anti virus is alerting me every 5 seconds or so of trojan or phishing site detection. I have copied all the results of detected sites which are 100' if not 1000's - You can see the list here : https://dl.dropbox.com/u/13369868/GSA SEO Indexer - Kapersky detected.txt

What do you suggest i do, set Kapersky to exclude GSA SEO indexer -- is that not risky ?

Appreciate any help

    I have Kaspersky 2013 and love it. But there is no need to run it while you are using either GSA product. You aren't going to be downloading anything. I just put Kaspersky on pause.

    @ron

    Maybe you are running only GSA on your machine, and maybe you are running it for short periods, but in my case i run GSA SER and Indexer 24/7 on a  high performance home pc, which also run many other programs and mail, so simply pausing the anti virus not work for me

    My only point was that you don't have to worry about the GSA products with respect to your antivirus. Sven has stated this on numerous ocassions. Almost all of those warnings are not real anyway, they are mostly iframes and stuff like that. When I give the programs a break to do a few things, I flip Kaspersky back on. But it's reaching a point where I'm going to have to go VPS or dedi because GSA dominates my PC.

    It's a javascript-redirector...nothing to worry about but maybe I should delete these sites from the SEO Indexer...I don't hink they are worth the trouble. But as ron said, you don't have to worry, the URL is just downloaded and nothing is executed. You can safely set the program on the whitelist.

    Sven

    Thanks, i will add GSA indexer to the whitelist.
    I am however skeptical as to the value of posting my links to sites which are seen as malicious and phishing sites. Wont it do more damage than good indexing on those kind of sites.

    It's just a definition. A java-redirect is not really a problem nor a trojan or phishing site. It's a very normal thing and sometimes anti virus programs simply overreact.
