"Project changes detected" stopped working?

There was a useful option to detect changes made in projects whenever I edit/change something in the project. I can see it's not working anymore! and I have to manually stop and restart the project to apply the changes.

Is it only me ? anyone noticed this ?

Please try on one of your projects and reply back if you can.
