I think on the SMF engine has a bug. I try more time to test it, I see submited with awaiting verifired. I check in the email not have any mail from SMF that resiter.
Just did quick SMF test and it seems to be submitting and verifying fine. I'm running MailRU accounts in this project.
Keep in mind some SMF use text captcha and some others use a complex captcha so you might need a fall back captcha service for those. If you're using CB it can solve a couple SMF types with a decent success rate.
