I setup my own cPanel domain and emails. My web hosting company once banned my VPS IP for quering my email server too excessively. Hence, I need to enable proxies for email checking. But what is the difference between these two options?...

    You need to have both checked to use proxies.

    Thanks Sven, I didn't enable all of them in my project's email verification settings. I thought enabling the global settings was enough...
