Has anyone managed to rank youtube videos after Panda 4 ?

Hello guys,

I was wondering if there are persons here which can still rank videos on the first page of Google after Panda 4.

Prior to Panda 4 it was relatively easy to rank them but now i can`t manage to rank any video at all no matter what.

I even tried to use 100% branded links and naked urls but without any results.

I manually spin my articles at sentences + word level and i make sure every output is 100% readable and the anchor text will fit the text perfectly.

I`m also using quality platforms (articles, social networks, web 2.0, +serengines ) with a minimum PR 1. I use only platforms that offers contextual do-follow backlinks but everything is in van. All the videos i`m working on have very easy competition

If anyone here can still rank vids please feel free to post how you do it and how you split up anchor text. This will help a lot of people...

Please help me

  • Nope. Other parasite pages aren't ranking neither.
  • Iv pushed 100,000 links to a youtube video and it ranked here and there then suddenly it doesnt rank no matter what i do. It only ranks for keywords within youtube searches but on page 1 of searches its nowhere to be found.
  • I currently have about thirty projects all pointing to YouTube videos in very low competition niches and NONE of them have managed to hit the front page of Google after I have thrown tens of thousands of backlinks to them.

When I check ahrefs the amount of backlinks they pick up is only a few hundred at best so I wrote it off as just needing to wait it out for indexing. However by the looks of it here there might be more to the issue.
  • You dont suppose Google started adding their ranking algo to youtube videos now? Up till now it hasnt been the case but maybe their have started.
  • It is do-able although it's not as easy as it used to be.  If your methods aren't working, then you need to change what you are doing.

I also suspect that Ahrefs & Majestic have issues with Youtube as neither show anywhere near the right amount of links I've built.

And @Desire_ don't be ridiculous, of course parasites are still ranking in pretty much every vertical.
  • Been testing on few web2.0's and same problem like you.

I got exacly same problem. My competition is low and got week descriptions etc. Yet they are better ranked than me (i am somewhere on page 3) with driping my video with mix of contextuals, embeed and comments comparing to competitor's 0 backlinks, social shares or couple of fake views.

So in the end it looks like its better to upload video, do nothing with it, scrape all competitors video urls and blast them with links. Voila you are on top. Bravo google.

Actually, some of my parasites are starting to rank recently but it takes a lot longer now. I'm talking about niches where I was previously able to rank in a week or two, now it looks like it takes more time.

    @davbel
Yeah, of course they are ranking. I see many parasites ranking very well for many niches at the moment, but most of them are quite old. Looks like I can still rank them pretty well to, but after Panda 4/payday loans 3.0 update it seems to take more time.
