Some considerations about back link quality

since there are lots of propagandists and fake SEO consultants everywhere, i d like to tell the GSA users some things about links quality.

  • Nofollow links are useless. They don't pass link juice so they are useless. They are not a signal.
  • A link that is not crawled by Googlebot is useless. So, generating 100 of thousands of links that are not indexed by google is just useless
  • We never have enough back links. The winners are the ones with the highest amount of do follow links
  • Links that disappear after 1 day, 1 week or 1 month are useless.
A quality link is a do follow, crawled, steady link.

  • Nofollow links don't pass link juice, but they pass trust.

Generally from my tests (on 1k+ domains) if I just drop a few nofollow blog comment links on highly trusted blogs (like adobe blog and etc), after a month or so, a fresh domain already ranks for a few keywords.

And when you start to add dofollow links things get better over time.
  • bloupbloup  maybe you are just wrong in everything you have said ?

  • @spammasta it wouldn't be the first time.

@bloupbloup, you consistently talk a lot of nonsense and don't back it up with any proof (see Crownvic's post about actual testing and results).

Having nothing but dofollow links would be a massive red flag. Everyone knows that right? hehe
